GILGIT: The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Haji Gulbar Khan, emphasized the pressing need for quality education in the region, calling it essential for the prosperity and bright future of the area. Speaking during a meeting with a delegation led by Lieutenant Colonel Zeeshan Bilal, the Principal of Colonel Mujib-ur-Rehman Shaheed Public School and College in Jutial, Gilgit, the Chief Minister highlighted that without high-standard education, the dreams of development and progress for the region would remain unfulfilled.
Haji Gulbar Khan praised the exceptional educational services provided by the Colonel Mujib-ur-Rehman Shaheed Public School and College Jutial. He acknowledged the institution’s significant role in enhancing the quality of education in the region and commended its effective measures that have earned it recognition. The Chief Minister assured the delegation that the provincial government would offer full support to the school’s administration, and that the issues faced by its teachers and students would be addressed on a priority basis.
“I understand the challenges you face, and I am committed to finding solutions quickly. To further assess the situation, I will personally visit the school and college in the near future to meet with the administration and stakeholders,” said the Chief Minister.
Prior to the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Zeeshan Bilal, who led the delegation, provided a detailed briefing on the institution’s activities and the long-standing issues it has been facing. He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for his willingness to listen attentively to their concerns and for assuring that these issues would be addressed promptly.
