ISLAMABAD: Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, continues to top the global list for on-time performance (OTP), achieving this milestone for the second time consecutively, according to a report by the independent aviation tracking site, Cirium, for July2024.
Saudi Arabian Airlines’ consistent on-time departures are particularly beneficial for Pakistani travelers, who often rely on timely flights for smooth travel experiences. This reliability is crucial for those planning trips from Pakistan, as it allows them to confidently arrange their schedules without worrying about delays. For Pakistani passengers with connecting flights, the airline’s punctuality ensures that onward connections are made seamlessly, reducing the stress of missed flights. This dependable service makes Saudi Arabian Airlines an attractive option for travelers from Pakistan, especially for those with tight travel plans or multiple connections.
The report indicates that Saudia has achieved an on-time arrival rate of 88.12% and an on-time departure rate of 88.15%, operating 16,503 flights across its network of over 100 destinations in four continents.
In the coming years, Saudia will add 103 new aircraft, aiming to double its seating capacity and enhance connectivity to Pakistan. This expansion will strengthen travel and trade between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 and supporting Pakistan’s economic growth.
